Quick Overview: “One of the biggest challenges in the design world of surfboards believe it or not is to create a grommet board that works. Fifteen years ago these challenges began with a very young and small Julian Wilson, more recently with my own three kids. We found success back then hand shaping these mini crafts, it was bloody hard work.
But having these as a solid reference we’ve been able to move forward with cad cutting design software and develop the user friendly all round board for groms to have fun and shred on.
The grom board has to have enough volume so the little guy/girl can catch waves while at the same time maintaining flow and sensitivity, enabling the grom to easily turn the board.
The Phoenix is an all round board for accomplished little shredders and can be ordered a size up for the novice.”

The Machine Head can be trusted to handle whatever you throw at it…
Just like your trusty 5150, The Machine Head will get the job done. Even after all those shows in tiny rooms & sweaty underground clubs. It’s going to constantly do what you need it to, even when under pressure. Trusted to handle whatever you throw at it. Shred on…
Designed to be ridden 3 inches shorter than your height.
This is a performance board for tiny waves. A flat rocker with a raised rail curve to give vee out the back of the board for speed and release. A stubby outline combined with a wide round square tail allows for rail to rail surfing. This winning combo saw Matt Wilkinson ride it to the WCT Final in Santa Cruz. Seeing that this board could be ridden in competition waves so well, saw it placed in the new Emery Anarchy series.
“Coming up to its fifth birthday The Chubby Chedda is proving to be a way more versatile short board than ever anticipated and the favourite of many re-ordering their LSD. The design stemmed from a widened outline of a contemporary shortboard, hence the ‘Chubby’ providing desirable fast planing speed. The nose rocker is low for acceleration and ease of paddling while the performance-style tail rocker allows the board to get vertical and whippy when needed. Single concave throughout with a decent double under the back foot makes it easy to roll over from rail to rail.
Round tail Chubby Chedda
The CC has until now been designed with a round square tail but research has found that a round tail on the CC gives it a whole new dimension; slightly less pod area gives the rider more hold and control, especially in bigger powerful waves and makes it easier to fit into the more critical suckier sections.”
“The volume in the Jalapeño is distributed to encourage paddle power yet stay agile off the tail with a refined rounded pin.
Designed as a versatile all round performance model the Jalapeño has a single to double concave with a slight vee in the tail allowing for speed control and release during high speed rail turns. The Jalapeño is a great option for the one board surfer looking for a model that can be surfed in just about any conditions from 2 to 3 feet beach breaks to over head hollow waves. The extra width through the nose and slightly reduced entry rocker makes the Jalapeño easy to paddle and fast from the take off. The versatile 5 fin setup adds to its diversity and allows surfing in hollow, barreling waves.”
