    Aloha Mid Length

“Mid-length boards  fill a void between the log and a shorter board.  Mid-lengths have a lot more longboard-like feel. But stepping down off the log they are zippy, quick, and easy to control. This makes them really fun when the surf is too big for a log, but not quite big enough for a shortboard. The Aloha Mid is a cruiser and small wave paddler for someone who typically rides a shortboard, and compared to a log, it is much more nimble and sensitive. They paddle great and can be made for anyone at any skill level”

“With a smooth outline the Habanero is an every day shortboard designed to perform in waves from waist to over head conditions!

A single concave under the front foot provides lift and acceleration and enables this daily shredder to engage the face of the wave.

A double concave through the fins redirects water flow through the tail assisting with lift and and control when surfing off the back foot, the double concave blends into a slight vee in the tail assisting rail to rail transfers and tight turns in the critical section of the wave face.

With a relaxed entry rocker and a little flick in the tail the Habanero should keep you surfing no matter what the conditions throw at you!”

“Traditional in the sense that this model has a simple, basic, gliding shape.
Designed to glide and flow through the dead spots on a wave. This design trims out and gets speed easily. Great paddling (straighter profile) and an all purpose performer, favouring wider turns. This is a board needs to be walked so it’s great for peeling point breaks or small beach breaks.”

  • Keel Twin

    Keel Twin

“If there is one board every surfer must have in their quiver, it’s a fish!

This little fish is short, wide and thick with a flat rocker principle for lots of fun plaining speed perfect for smaller waves. However, these boards can be extremely fun and functional in good quality waves and waves of size.

The classic twin keel fish was developed in the mid 70’s as a knee board by Steve Lis. Pintail surfboards were a favourite of his, but his swim fins would hang over the side creating drag. He decided to split the tail, giving him the width needed to support his fins, while still holding on to the performance characteristics of a pintail. This fish proved to be a barrel machine, able to paddle in early, take fairly late drops, hold high and tight in the pocket and was snappy off the top. It wasn’t long until he had refined the design to suit stand up surfers, and the fish design took off.”

“The Magic Mushroom is a shorter, wider version of a standard shortboard that allows you shorten the arc of your turn, surf tight in the pocket, and generate exceptional speed.

Extra width positioned through the center of the board compensates for the reduction in length, while the rocker profile and bottom contours mimic that of a high performance shortboard. The hip positioned just forward of the fins reduces the tail width to maintain the rail-to-rail sensitivity and response of a much narrower board.

Available in XF Technology and PU, the Mushy is ideal for anyone looking to maximize their performance and enjoyment in day-to-day conditions.
The smaller sizes will have advanced riders exploring above the lip, the bigger sizes will suit heavier riders who want to surf to their full potential. Surf the Mushy approximately 4 inches shorter than your standard shortboard.”

“Small – three sizes from 5’8 to 6’4 built to cover the more advanced elements of surfing whilst still focusing on fun. The Fun Division small offers the most diversity through its multiple fin configuration, ride as a single fin for that flowing feeling that only a single fin can deliver.

Need more control? Why not add side bights to the single fin for increased performance or remove the single fin and ride as a quad when the waves are fast and hollow.”

“The BEAN transfers the performance features of a standard shortboard into a more compact design that’s incredibly fast and responsive in small-to-medium size waves. A generous nose template distributes extra volume into the front half of the board, while added width through the centre creates a platform for immediate drive and start-up acceleration.

Low entry rocker further enhances speed; this is offset by moderate rocker through the tail which helps to maintain manoeuvrability in steeper waves. The BEAN retains the thickness, rail volume and foil of a performance shortboard and combines a shallow single-to-double concave with vee running out through the tail. The result is a board that’s frisk, lively and a ton of fun.

Ride the BEAN 3-to-6 inches shorter than your regular shortboard. The versatility of the BEAN is further enhanced with a tri-quad fin configuration allowing it to be set up as a thruster or a quad”

“The volume in the Jalapeño is distributed to encourage paddle power yet stay agile off the tail with a refined rounded pin.

Designed as a versatile all round performance model the Jalapeño has a single to double concave with a slight vee in the tail allowing for speed control and release during high speed rail turns. The Jalapeño is a great option for the one board surfer looking for a model that can be surfed in just about any conditions from 2 to 3 feet beach breaks to over head hollow waves. The extra width through the nose and slightly reduced entry rocker makes the Jalapeño easy to paddle and fast from the take off. The versatile 5 fin setup adds to its diversity and allows surfing in hollow, barreling waves.”

“Short, wide, fast and fun the Aloha Black Bean has a short rail line that fits perfectly into the smallest pocket. The small curvy outline helps in the weakest of beach breaks by decreasing drag and increasing speed which is the key to this little pocket rocket. The medium to low rail helps to draw out turns and control speed which the Black Bean has in spades!

The flat entry rocker enables instant acceleration when combined with a single to double concave allowing full control at speed, the subtle diamond tail provides multiple pivot points for turning in the most critical sections of dumpy little shore breaks. For experienced surfers ride this little whip 1 or 2 litres in volume above your standard short board or for the intermediate surfers go up 6 to 8 litres and take full advantage of the paddle power and stability.
